VC — SHOPPING

Vancouver - Annual 2009

Talking Shop in Vancouver.

Vancouver ShoppingVisitors to Vancouver have been known to ask, "Where are all the malls?" There are malls, of course, but being a fairweather city, Vancouver is fortunate to have some of the best street front shopping strolls in the country. Robson Street downtown, with its bi-level fashion stores. Hastings Street between Granville and Burrard Streets is a high-end designer shopping district. Revamped in the early '90s, Yaletown is known for its housewares (and nightlife). The area known as South Granville is sometimes referred to as Gallery Row, because of its abundance of commercial art galleries.

If truth be known, Vancouver does have shopping malls. But your Vancouver shopping experience should include all of the wonderful boutiques, shops and studios that this city has to offer! Follow the links below for more information on the wide range of shopping experiences in Vancouver.
