The pan-seared Dungeness crab cakes rival Boston’s. Seating is colourfully warm, with crimson, violet, lemon and avocado tones. Exotic flower displays sprout everywhere from Martha Sturdy vases. Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House
This Vancouver landmark was named after the city’s beloved first lifeguard in the 1890s, Joe Fortes. The restaurant is a classically styled American seafood brasserie with a bustling oyster bar and second-floor balcony tables overlooking the activity below.
