Lattimer Gallery is located just one block west of Vancouver’s Granville Island, in the beautiful neighborhood of False Creek. Established in 1986 by Leona Lattimer, the gallery is now under the direction of her grandson, Peter Lattimer, who upholds her vision of welcoming you into a warm and inviting longhouse setting. Come and experience the visual wonders of contemporary Northwest Coast art — an art form where traditions are deep-rooted and the legacy is limitless. At Lattimer Gallery you will encounter a diverse presentation of miniature to large-scale works by Native artists from many regions throughout British Columbia.

Explore the beauty of our hand-engraved sterling silver and gold jewellery; peruse an assorted display of pendants, bracelets, earrings and other fine jewellery pieces. The gallery also has a wonderful collection of two-dimensional work, including original drawings, paintings and limited-edition prints. In addition, we carry a selection of wood carvings, masks, argillite totem poles, steam bent boxes and sculptural works to meet all tastes and interests.

While Lattimer Gallery represents many of the First Nations cultures based within British Columbia, a strong effort is made to support and promote those artists who are beginning to thrive in their respective media. Numerous young artists are producing works that both reflect their cultural heritage and challenge artistic conventions within the Native art tradition.
