Converging Streams: Art of the Hispanic and Native American Southwest at Museum of Spanish Colonial Art Santa Fe
This exhibit at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art and the accompanying catalogue will explore the fascinating artistic dialogue that took place in the Southwest from contact period through the 19th century between European and Indigenous cultures. Furniture, textile, metalwork, sculpture, painting, and leatherwork will all be included in the exhibit, accompanied by programs highlighting oral traditions in story, music and dance. The exhibit is curated by MoSCA's head curator, Robin Farwell-Gavin and guest curator, Dr. William Wroth.
Event Cost: Museum Admission is FREE for members, $3 for in-state & $6 for out-of-state
