Geronimo, long considered Santa Fe’s best restaurant for fine dining, just got even better. When Santa Fe locals Chef Martin Rios, Managing Partner Chris Harvey, and Restaurant Manager Mary Hasted formed a partnership to take over this landmark restaurant, an unbeatable team offering the best in food and service was created. Nestled in the 250-year-old adobe hacienda of Señor Geronimo Lopes on Canyon Road where ambiance abounds, some of the nation’s best food is to be enjoyed. The owners are dedicated to ensuring you the highest quality dining experience at this cutting edge restaurant with its award-winning cuisine. The staff at Geronimo exemplifies the art of hospitality with attentive, knowledgeable, friendly service while the exquisite décor creates a serene and intimate setting.

Chef Rios’ passion for food has taken him around the world in pursuit of culinary innovation and creativity that is synonymous with his name and his cooking experience. Chef Rios has termed his approach to food as “contemporary global cuisine” with an emphasis on fresh produce, Southwestern and Asian influences, and French technique. His menu is built around locally grown fruits and vegetables and organic meats and poultry to create an exciting menu that honors the culinary legacies of the Southwest. Chef Rios, featured in the 2008 season as a competitor on Food Network’s, Iron Chef America, brings to Geronimo many accolades including the Robert Mondavi Culinary Award of Excellence, Chef of the Year by the City of Santa Fe, by the State of New Mexico (twice), and by the New Mexico Lodging Association (twice).

Geronimo has consistently won major local and national awards and enjoys a strong local, national, and international clientele.
