Ghost Ranch in Abiquiú is home to the Florence Hawley Ellis Museum of Anthropology. Extensive displays are designed to tell the amazing story of 12,000 years of successive habitation of the Gallina-Chama-Río Grande drainage by peoples of different ethnic makeup and cultures. The museum also displays contemporary work by Indian, Spanish, and Anglo artists and artisans who carry on the traditions of the peoples that have inhabited this area.

The Palace of the Governors was built 1609-1610. Art VanGo is Santa Fe’s finest free shuttle! The Art VanGo service operates between downtown, the Santa Fe Railyard, and Canyon Road. It runs seven days a week (summer hours differ from off-season). It includes stops at SITE Santa Fe, The New Mexico Museum of Art, Lensic Performing Arts Center, Museum Hill, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and participating sponsors. Pick up the shuttle at numerous Art VanGo stops around town, including any of the sponsor locations (look for the signs).

Regular cooking classes last about three hours, including lunch. The talented chefs have written cookbooks, won prestigious awards, and appeared in the pages of glossy magazines.
