From the moment you step into the gallery your senses will be heightened, your heart will palpitate and your body will say, “thank you.” Be it the sound of the bubbling water, the lush green gardens, or the lavish display of the most unique, sophisticated visionary art, glass, sculpture, and jewelry.
Chalk Farm Gallery will feel like a day at the spa!
Suhana Gibson founded the gallery in Chalk Farm, London in 1981. She had a vision to create a sensory experience, not just an exquisite gallery. “It’s all about the ambiance,” she says. Due to her tenure in the art world, she attracted many of the most sought after, gifted artists of vision and imagination in the world.
Several times a year the gallery hosts opening receptions to meet some of these spectacular artists. This year you will not want to miss three of the most important shows. In June the gallery hosts an opening reception for world-renowned artist Michael Parkes who will be showing some extremely rare stone lithographs as well as recent works. A rare opportunity to meet this artist at the reception June 29th.
Later in the year Gil Bruvel visits for his show of beautiful paintings, prints and sculpture. The show will be complemented by the intricate masks of Judith Rauchfuss who makes her wearable art for performers of Cirque de Soleil. Opens July 27th.
October 12th the gallery welcomes back today’s world leading metaphorical realist artist Vladimir Kush. Following last year’s sellout show, this year promises to challenge that success and we anticipate twice as many collectors. Moving images of Vladimr’s art are accompanied by live music that truly draws the viewer into his world.
Vladimir will be signing copies of his new book, “Journey to the Edge of Time”.
All of Chalk Farm’s artists can be viewed on the website and are represented throughout the year.
While you immerse yourself in Canyon Road’s artful delicacies pamper yourself with the rich, pulsating treasures only to be found under Chalk Farm’s elegant glass roof.

Arrival of Flower Ship, canvas giclée, 39" x 31" The artist represents the “Flower Ship” sailing among the islands of the terrestrial paradise. The pink glow of her gladioli sails illuminates all around. The sea surface is strewn with flower petals. The natives use them to approach the ship, greeting her with palm branches. The magnificent voyage turns into a triumphal procession. |
