Flaherty’s Oyster Bar and Flaherty’s Seafood Grill in downtown Carmel are the Monterey Peninsula’s seafood mecca. At the bright and lively Oyster Bar, customers may choose fresh oysters, clams, crabs, and lobster from Carmel’s only saltwater tank, Enjoy Flaherty’s world-famous clam chowders in both the Manhattan and incredibly rich Boston varieties, or savor the day’s catch delivered fresh from the source every morning.
At a table for two or a center spread for 12, it’s elbow to elbow, with casual fun and good-natured socializing.
The crab and clam chowders are made to meet the steady demand for what most travelers say is the best they’ve ever had.
