The cuisine is as memorable as the ambiance. The world-famous Abalone Bisque was created at the restaurant and served at President Ronald Reagan’s “Taste of America” inaugural dinner. Whether you choose Monterey Bay King Salmon or Butter Poached Australian Lobster Tail On Black Truffle Risotto, you are assured of the freshest seafood, prepared with perfection.
The Sardine Factory serves only the best Eastern corn-fed USDA prime steaks, hand picked, aged for five weeks to ensure tenderness, then cooked at 1,600 degrees to sear in the natural flavors. No other steak will ever compare!
The Lounge is warm and lively, with couches and leather armchairs arranged for comfortable and relaxed seating. The flexible and affordable menu includes tempting tapas such as Four Hour Braised Short Ribs and the Smoked Salmon and Roasted Red Pepper Rolls, as well as more substantial fare. The 10 oz. Prime Top Sirloin Sandwich is served on a 23-inch plate with homemade fries and romaine salad. Creative cocktails and the extraordinary wine list provide the perfect accompaniment to the inventive menu. Live entertainment Tuesday through Saturday makes the Lounge Monterey’s favorite hot spot.
