Lynn Lupetti is an exquisite creature, petite and graceful, her gentle laugh and sparkling eyes captivate all who meet her. She is the epitome of charm, the definition of lovely. But a big, bold spirit is housed in this tiny, feminine form. An inquisitive mind, a keen intellect, Lynn is not content to skim the surface. Her life’s imperative is depth … get to the very bottom of things; find the true essence, the vein of gold. That is where the magic lives. She dives deeply into life, into art and emerges bearing gifts from unseen realms, from fragile, far away shores. Lynn sees a world of infinite possibility, of shimmering delight. In Lynn’s elegant hand a fine sable brush becomes a sword that cuts through the dull, workaday world and reveals a rich landscape of wonder and enchantment. She is fluent in magic, in leading us back to our child heart, in giving us new eyes.
“My connection to art is born of a deep, profound love. A need to communicate the beauty and awe of what I see, to have it run through me, out my hand and onto the canvas. To touch the viewer in the way I was touched. There is an invisible thread that runs from the image to someone’s heart. When I am painting in my studio, there is a moment every afternoon when it feels as though the angels descend, the paint is on the brush, my hand is moving to the harmony of Beethoven or Mozart, my heart starts swimming in this stream of bliss and peace. I let go and it is all just happening around me. It is a pure gift.”
Lynn’s newest offering is a collection entitled “Our Common Bond.” Inspired by the people she met on her most recent travels abroad, she quietly set out to capture the very essence of these gentle souls. Her tender portraits give us a glimpse into the lives and journeys of the remarkable men and women who captivated her. Lynn has always believed that we are all connected. These stunning images prove that magic is not solely the domain of childhood but it exists in everyone, everywhere, wherever one finds an open heart.
Lynn’s artistic vision has been an inspiration to people from all over the world. Her work is included in the collections of the Vatican, the White House, and the Smithsonian Institute. Corporate leaders, statesmen, athletes, and entertainers collect her paintings and all agree that Lynn has gently led them back to the place where innocence and wonder were our constant companions.
Additionally the Lynn Lupetti Gallery offers a magical selection of bronze sculpture by Kim Kori and J.A. Pippett and Tiffany-style lamps by Howard Rubin. They extend a personal invitation to visit “Carmel’s Most Magical Gallery.” The Lynn Lupetti Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
