A History: Fifty-six years ago, the store first offered its elegant jewels and wristwatches to residents and visitors of historic Carmel. The rare collection and personal attention attracted customers of all kinds. Although the store has expanded over the years its original intimate and personalized atmosphere remains unchanged. With his wife Sandy, and son Josh, John Bonifas travels extensively adding to the already impressive inventory to offer estate jewellery and vintage watches of unsurpassed quality and value.

The Jewellery Collection: The collection at Fourtané consists of authentic antique and period estate jewellery from the 1800s to the present day. Beauty, fine craftsmanship, uniqueness and value are the cornerstones of Fourtané philosophy on buying and selling. John Bonifas favors lovely jewellery that can be worn every day. The entire Rolex history can be traced in our collection, from fine vintage to a full selection of authorized new Rolex watches.
