Bombay Brasserie offers delicious Muglai, North Indian, food in a relaxing atmosphere just off Loop 610 near the Galleria and in Rice Village. The impressive lunch buffet features 19 dishes, and Bombay Brasserie serves à la carte for dinner with an exciting, full menu that includes both traditional Indian specialties as well as a few surprises.
Be sure to try one of the Tandoori specialties such as the Chicken Tikka, the Rack of Lamb, or the Salmon Tikka. Award-winning executive chef Jabir Malhotra marinates meats, poultry, and seafood before skewering and broiling it in the tandoor, a clay pit oven that gives food a most exquisite taste. The outstanding breads, stuffed with garlic, paneer, onions, nuts, lamb, potatoes, or mint, are also baked in the tandoor.
Bombay Brasserie features a fine selection of meat and poultry as well as an extensive vegetarian menu. Diners may enjoy traditional Indian spices, or Chef Malhotra will adjust the spices by request. Try unique dishes like Rogan Josh Lamb (lamb curry in yogurt and onions), Prawn Curry Madras (white prawns cooked in hot onion and mustard sauce), and Chana Masala (chickpeas and onions spiced with ginger and garlic).
Dessert includes traditional Indian dishes like Rasmalai (homemade cream cheese with pistachios and almonds) as well as less traditional Mango or Pistachio Kulfi (ice cream from reduced milk and mango or pistachios). The atmosphere includes beautiful wooden hand-carved doors from India as well as Indian art, giving visitors a delicious, unique taste of Indian food and culture.
