Élan's Chairman of the Board/President Tammy Tran and her goddaughter Michelle Tran are true connoisseurs of the arts. Besides her hectic schedule as one of Houston’s top litigation lawyers, Tammy travels extensively to collect artwork for the spas to bring relaxation to an art form. Élan believes in the art of healing through massages and curative body treatments by Christian therapists and donates all Élan profits to support Christian missionary work in Southeast Asia and third world countries.

Tammy began her love of spas and the healing powers of massage by first gathering all the information she could find about different spas around the world. This fascination was her way to cope with the stress of her career as a litigation attorney. From this one-time hobby, Tammy evolved into creating an oasis in Houston for local clients and visitors alike. She also has gathered antique furniture from all over Europe, marble floors from Italy and sumptuous silk curtains from Southeast Asia to ensure that all guests to Élan feel thoroughly indulged.

Élan invites guests to visit its two locations and prepare for a royal pampering. In the warm spirit of hospitality reserved only for special friends, each visit to Élan includes complimentary champagne mimosas, wine and French/American delicacies in a sumptuous setting of red roses, jasmine scent and soft candlelight. Services include pomegranate and cranberry body polish, full body seaweed wrap, hot stone massage, European seaweed facials and spa manicures and pedicures.
