Welcome and bienvenidos to the Land of the Sun. Whether your destination is El Paso, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, or Southern New Mexico you’ll find the people and places you’ll meet here are as warm and friendly as the beautiful desert sunshine that drenches our corner of the world more than 300 days a year.
The Borderland offers a special brand of hospitality to visitors. From the top of our mountains you can see two countries, three states, and two cities, all within minutes of each other. If you descend and become acquainted with the people who live in those places you’ll find that they are anxious to make you feel at home, and that the expression “mi casa es su casa” (my house is your house) is a saying we take to heart.
Life is a little slower out here, and we hope you will take the time during your visit to appreciate the natural beauty of the area as much as we do. Relax and enjoy a cool drink and a delicious meal at one of our fine dining establishments. Take in the sights and sounds of the music, art, and historical venues that are here for you to enjoy.
