Some of GuestLife El Paso's Favorite Restaurants.
It's easy to find a good meal in El Paso. Folks have been eating well in this town longer than most towns have even been around. What makes the food here special is the blending of cultures, drawing from the original Native Americans, the Spanish colonists with their added Arabic background, the settlers from back east, and the whole catalog of worldwide modern cuisine.
Until fairly recently El Paso and the surrounding regions could have been called just steak-and-enchilada country. Restaurants couldn't survive unless they offered one or the other. Now, however, the cuisine horizons of the region have vastly widened. Continental and regional varieties have made inroads, so that now you have choices of different kinds of food within the broad categories. This widening of tastes not only tickles the locals' taste buds, but it means that visitors have a large palette from which to choose.
